Local Efforts
Below are several group that advocate onmany youth-related issues, including out-of-school time programs for Boston youth. Investigate these sites and see if your interests are mirrored in one or more of these groups.
Citywide Parents Council
A Boston group active in the debate of many education issues, including MCAS and curriculum reform. It also has volunteers available to help support and organize concerned parents.
The Black Ministerial Alliance

Build the Out-of-School Time Network
BOSTnet is an organization committed to increasing the supply of quality, affordable childcare in Massachusetts. It works closely with parents and providers to advocate for childcare and after-school programs in the greater Boston area and in Massachusetts.
