State-wide Efforts
Massachusetts is fortunate to have several statewide advocacy groups to support out-of-school time programs and other youth-focused issues. If you are interested in lending your voice to a state-wide effort, consider becoming involved in one of these groups below.
Keeping Kids on Track
This award-winning statewide campaign aims to ensure that all children have safe, productive learning and enrichment opportunities during out-of-school hours. A joint project of several Massachusetts United Ways and Mass 2020, it provides an opportunity to participate in a statewide movement to raise awareness and increase community commitments to high quality, after-school programming.
Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership
Formed in 2002, the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership is a statewide organization that coordinates the activities of out-of-school time networks in the Commonwealth. They also promote high-quality out-of-school time programming, as well as advocate for increased public and private funding to support these efforts.
