Neighborhood Builders
Part of Bank of America's signature philanthropic program, Neighborhood Builders focus on local neighborhood priorities. Benefits include:
- $200,000 (or local market currency equivalent) for operating support to 2 nonprofit/charitable organizations in each of 44 markets
- One senior executive attends two 3-day workshops on strategic thinking, business planning, leadership development, and other topics
- One emerging leader attends three 3-day workshops on developing organizational management skills, managing strategic opportunities, forging alliances, and building communities
Application period beginning January 2, 2007 through June 29, 2007
Local Heroes
Local Heroes champion causes vital to their communities and inspire others to get involved. Benefits include:
- $5,000 (or local market currency equivalent) to a qualified nonprofit/charitable organization of the heroes' choice in each of the 44 markets
- Public ceremonies recognizing Bank of America Local Heroes in their communities
